Welcome to Dementia web
Dementia web is a unique local information resource for people with dementia, their carers and professionals.
The site is owned and managed by Guideposts Trust, www.guidepoststrust.org.uk, and is part of Guideposts Dementia Information Service for Carers which was launched by the charity in 2004.
Guideposts has embarked on a major development of Dementia web with the aim of creating one site per county.
A national site has recently been launched, with four county sites, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Bath & North East Somerset, and Kent & Medway currently operating.

Funding
These sites are funded by voluntary donations and Guideposts has a huge fundraising programme to find the costs of establishing and running them.
Each site costs approximately £15,000 to maintain and £5,000 to set up. Donations from local people are vital in raising this annual cost and Guideposts is grateful to the individuals, trusts and corporate supporters who help raise these funds.
Please consider making a donation, or using our affiliate links, all of which raise the money needed to support your local service.
